A Message from the President

GRTU Announcement

I hope you are all having an enjoyable summer and staying cool. We have been fortunate to receive much needed rain, and Canyon Lake is full for the first time in many years. Our expectation is that this bodes well for flows through the fall and winter.

As we move into fall, our lease access sign-up process is kicking off, and our online orientation is working well. Thank you Robilyn for making the process so smooth.

Lease access fees are unchanged, even though expenses for fish and some leases will increase, the board has decided to keep fees the same as previous years.

I would like to express my deep appreciation for the work done by the Board of Directors, along with the efforts of other volunteers in the chapter. Your contributions, whether through volunteer work, financial donations, or simply spreading the word about our mission, are the driving force behind everything we do at GRTU. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited. Here’s to another year of conservation, education, and community involvement!

Stay well and tight lines,
Brad Garner
GRTU President
