The Chapter continues to be in good financial health. Our 2022-2023 fiscal year ended April 1, 2023.
Financials have been finalized for the year and all accounting information is ready to be submitted to our accountants so they can begin preparing our 990 tax return.
We are also in the process of preparing and filing our annual activity report for FY 2022-2023 to Trout Unlimited National which is due by May 15, 2023.
Our annual budget meeting will be scheduled for mid-May so that we can have a final budget approved by the end of May. We will also discuss the disbursement of profits from Troutfest TX 2023 at that time.
Our three major events for the past year were: The Lease Access Program, Youth Trout Camp and Troutfest TX 2023. All three events were great successes and added to our bottom line.
We also disbursed our 2nd and final payment to Rocky Mountain Flycasters TU Chapter for $4,900 to complete our Coldwater Outreach Conservation Grant for the Poudre Headwaters Project – DNA Diversity Study.
